No only am I interested in collecting Ayu stuff, but I am selling some merchandise I no longer want and have no idea how to price it. I've done some research on what good condition Ayu CD singles and merchandise cost, but haven't really found a steady price range. I've seen singles anywhere from $1.00 to $25. Thus, I wanted to take a little poll to see what you guys thought. If anyone has advice on buying Ayu stuff, let me know. I'd greatly appreciate it...

Date: 2009-06-28 01:01 pm (UTC)I've bought concert DVDs from eBay, and I've thought about buying albums/singles - though I always look at the user's ratings/feedback to see if they've had any problems, and I prefer to buy from users who post their own photos of the item instead of using an image they found online. I guess I just feel "safer" seeing what I'll be getting. I used to buy only from YesAsia, but lately I've been looking around HMV. They have pretty decent prices; cheaper than YesAsia typically. I also have bought a few things from the LJ comm garagesalejapan. I like to browse through there every now and then.

Date: 2009-07-09 07:38 am (UTC)For used, I like to look on Yahoo Japan Auctions for sets and stuff. Since I'm outside Japan, though, I have to use a deputy service, and the fees can add up pretty quickly.
Otokichi is also a good place for used CDs at good prices: http://www.otokichi.com/main/newotokichien/engtop.htm
I almost never use eBay. It doesn't seem as popular as it used to be, and most of the people who are still there are either (a) selling CDs from Taiwan, or (b) scammers. I know where to go if I'm in the mood for Sorny PSP games strangely developed by Ninten-do, though.
